The Yost SSV-0610N is a 6-inch stainless steel bench vise built for acidic and corrosive environments where standard cast iron vises would break down -- food, beverage, and medical applications in particular. The 304 stainless steel body is chemically passivated with a nitric/hydrofluoric acid bath to build up corrosion-resistant passive oxides, and it ships with three interchangeable jaw sets: serrated stainless, smooth stainless, and smooth hard plastic.
An optional swivel base kit converts this from a stationary-mount vise to a swivel-mount vise, and an optional serrated pipe jaw kit converts it from a bench vise to a combination pipe and bench vise (both sold separately).
