The Eastwood TG2000 Cordless Tungsten Grinder provides a portable way to prepare tungsten electrodes wherever TIG welding takes place. Its compact cordless design allows the grinder to stay close to the work area, reducing the need to leave position and use a stationary bench grinder.
The double-sided diamond grinding wheel is designed to sharpen more than 200 tungsten electrodes per wheel. Built-in guide slots hold 1/16-inch and 3/32-inch tungsten at either a 10-degree or 22.5-degree angle, helping create consistent electrode points for improved arc control and stability.
Proper tungsten preparation can help reduce arc wander, porosity, and inconsistent weld penetration. The TG2000 is especially useful for automotive fabrication, roll cage work, and other confined areas where portability is important.
