This 8" combination bench grinder and belt sander handles sanding, finishing, grinding, sharpening, cleaning, deburring, and filing in one bench-mounted tool, for both metalworking and woodworking tasks. The 8" grinding wheel occupies one side while the 2" x 28" sanding belt occupies the other, so you can switch between operations without changing tools.
The sanding belt adjusts between 45 and 90 degrees for the most effective work angle, and Eastwood stocks replacement belts for ongoing use. A lamp housing accepts a vibration-resistant 40W bulb (not included) for task lighting. The UL-listed 115V AC motor and cast aluminum base with coolant tray round out an 18" overall width tool built for a working bench.
